Prime Timeline
(The root of all realities)

A gymnasium was a dedicated space for exercise and sports. Captain Kirk attempted to teach Charlie Evans to learn to be more sociable by taking him to the gymnasium aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. Instead, Kirk learned about the incredible mental abilities that had been bestowed upon him by the Thasians when he made a crewmember disappear.[1]
