A silvery metal, tin was element 50 on the periodic table and had an atomic mass of 118.69.[1] Harry Mudd once referred to the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 computer as a "tin-plated pot" when it exposed his lies and half-truths during a deposition.[2]
