The Federation Starship Magellan was a Constellation class cruiser.[1] On Stardate 46682.4, the Magellan, commanded by Captain Conklin, put in at the Remmler Array for a routine Baryon Sweep.[2] The Magellan's service life ended some time prior to Stardate 51244, and the name was passed on to the Galaxy class U.S.S. Magellan NCC-71820.[3]
