Map of the Orion Colonies (FASA2008A) (Colorized; Original B&W Image)
- RSD -10/3707 (July):[1] Orion space is at its greatest extent. A colony at Talna III, only 31 parsecs from the Sol system, is established. At this time, 57.3 billion Orions live on 972 planets.[2]
1097
- RSD -10/0303.21 (21 March):[1] With the help of several powerful Botchok families, Botchok Planetary Congress President Boyor Ignatin assumes dictatorial powers, jails his opponents, and reorganizes the Orion government. Within the year, he is crowned Boyor the Righteous and issues his Demand for Unity to all rebellious or seceded colonies. The Fringe Wars (and the Reverse) begin).[2]
- RSD -10/03 through -8/88 (1097-1211):[1] The short-lived Orion Empire attempts to restore order by forcibly reuniting all regions in the Fringe Wars. The effort impoverishes Botchok and accelerates the disintegration of Orion society by giving arms to the poor and powerless. Many Gray Orion ruling families are wiped out on the most distant planets, the first victims of the Dispossession. Before it is finished, 90 percent of all Gray Orions will be dead, and the rest go into hiding.[3]

- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 "The Orions: The Book of Common Knowledge" and "The Orions: The Book of Deep Knowledge" erroneously gave the years of all negative stardates in the Common Era in reverse order; for example, -14/23 is actually 676, rather than 623. This has been corrected for this entry.
