SFU Timeline
Construction on the Federation Starship Cassini, a Kepler class[1] transport (a variant of the Ptolemy class), was authorized by the Star Fleet Appropriation of Stardate 3840.[2] In Y155, the Cassini was attacked by a Klingon F-5 class frigate while towing two cargo pods near the Federation-Klingon border, in an effort to disrupt frontier trade and transport in the region.[4]
