The sixth planet of fifteen orbiting the blue-white giant[1] Omega Aurigae, located in Quadrant IV of Federation space,[2] New Paris was an outpost world colonized c.2105 by the starliner Lafayette. The twin port cities of Celante and Candide had populations in excess of one million, and exported both manufactured goods and farm produce.[1] In 2207, the New Paris colony was afflicted with a plague. The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 delivered medicine to Makus III for transfer to New Paris on Stardate 2825.[3] By 2223, New Paris had a population of 1.26 billion, mostly Humans.[2]
