The Federation Starship Exeter,[1] an Enterprise class cruiser, was commissioned on Reference Stardate 2/1805 (January 2218).[2] In [2224 (FASA)|2224]], the Exeter assisted in the recovery of Enterprise Captain James T. Kirk from a bounty hunter named Sweeny.[3] The Exeter was refit to Mark III specifications on Reference Stardate 2/2602 (February 2226), then to Mark IV specifications on Reference Stardate 2/3311 (November 2233). The Exeter was scrapped on Reference Stardate 2/5001 (January 2250).[4]
