- T'Pek, a Vulcan archaeologist, discovers evidence of a rebellious group of Vulcans, which sought to embrace their emotions, that left the planet more than a millennium before. The group charted their intended destination before they left, and T'Pek discovered an ancient tome, called Vulcana's Betrayal, detailing their plan, including the location of the planet they sought to colonize, and their intended name for their new home: Rom A'losh, which was ancient Vulcan for "Raptor's Nest."[1]
