Reference Stardate 1/5801 through 1/5812
- RSD 1/58: Because of the failure of the Tritium class, concern for the Federation's defense capability results in the building of an advanced prototype cruiser. The resulting vessel doesn't become part of Star Fleet's operational forces, but many of its improvements are incorporated into other classes.[1]
