This robot ship was assigned with another identical ship, NCC-G1465, to transport a shipment of quintotriticale to Sherman's Planet on Stardate 5392.4. The ships were escorted by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, and when the starship responded to a distress call from a one-person scout ship, the robot vessels were used as a distraction against an attacking Klingon vessel. The robot vessel was heavily damaged, and its cargo was transferred aboard the Enterprise while it was taken in tow by a tractor beam. The NCC-G1465 escaped unscathed and was able to complete its mission.[1]
