Myriad Universes: Klingon Empire
The Klingon Empire was an adversarial power to the United Federation of Planets during the 23rd century. It was described by Captain James T. Kirk as a military dictatorship, focused entirely at the enrichment of the Klingon species at the expense of the other worlds and species that they conquered, with entire planets organized into slave labor camps. A brief state of war existed between the Empire and the Federation in 2267, which spanned three days, from Stardate 3198.4 through 3201.7. The conflict began with attacks on Starfleet vessels and facilities by Klingon forces, and ended with the imposition of the Organian Peace Treaty on both polities by the Organian Council of Elders.[1]
