This unnamed ensign was assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 in 2267. On Stardate 2947.3, when the Enterprise was damaged following an ion storm that took the life of Lieutenant Commander Ben Finney, she was called to testify during the court martial of Captain James T. Kirk, who was accused of negligence and perjury in the death of Finney. Kirk was later cleared of all charges when Finney was discovered to have faked his death in order to frame the captain.[1]
