Alpha Centauri was one of the founding worlds of the United Federation of Planets,[2] and is located in the system of the same name, located in the Alpha Centauri Sector (aka Sector 002) of the Beta Quadrant.[1] Zefram Cochrane relocated to Alpha Centauri,[3] some time after making First Contact with the Vulcans,[4] though he did return to Earth to help found the Warp Five Complex with Henry Archer.[5]
