  • RSD 1/2601: A commission proposes a new astrophysical coordinate system for the Federation, which is mathematically precise and discards Sol as the central reference point. The proposal stems from growing political implications about Earth being the "center of the universe." The Federation Council immediately accepts the commission's proposal.[3]
