The Federation Starship Xenophon was a Larson class destroyer commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/9211 (November 2192), serving simultaneously with the Marklin class U.S.S. Xenophon.[1][2] The Xenophon was refit to Mark II specifications on RSD1/9903 (March 2199), giving it more powerful phasers and an additional torpedo launcher. On RSD2/1211 (November 2212), the ship was refit again to the Mark VI configuration, giving it a more powerful impulse drive system, improved phasers, and more efficient shield generators. Reference Stardate 2/1602 (February 2216) saw another refit, this time to the Mark VII specifications, which featured the new FWC-2 warp engines and a more powerful impulse drive system, which increased the overall power output by 25 percent. As of RSD2/2306 (June 2223), the Xenophon was still on active service.[3]
