- RSD 2/19: Lancelot Worthington III approves Operation Xanadu, the takeover of Comstock by BioResearch.[1]
- RSD 2/19: Alastair Fergus of Daran V is elected president of the Federation Council.[1]
January
- RSD 2/1901: Select Star Fleet vessels participate in Operation Solar Wind IV, a fleet-level training operation. This maneuver is designed to test Star Fleet's ability to respond and repulse an invasion by Romulan forces.[2]
February
- RSD 2/1902: The actual results of Operation Solar Wind IV are compared to the projected results according to Operation Armageddon. The comparison proves that the training simulation will be effective, provided accurate data is used.[2]
June
- RSD 2/1906: A small band of renegade Gorn based on Maltharin II attack Federation shipping and outposts in hopes of sabotaging Federation/Gorn relations. The Larson class destroyer U.S.S. Hastings NCC-4404, commanded by Commander Charles E. Stuart and carrying official Gorn representatives is dispatched to make contact and attempt a peaceful resolution with the renegades.[3][2]
- RSD 2/1906: Star Fleet Intelligence later learns that the Klingon K-22B Bird of Prey class scout enters service.[2]
July
- RSD 2/1907: The rendezvous between the Dixie Queen and the Dixie Lady occurs. Several crew members are swapped, and the ships exchange identities. The Dixie Queen sets course for Gnuu Re', while the Dixie Lady heads for Starbase 12.[4]
August
- RSD 2/1908.18 (18 August): The Dixie Queen is destroyed. The Dixie Lady picks up the mayday broadcast. Mouhkta begins to work on arranging a rendezvous with the Dixie Princess.[4][2]
October
- RSD 2/1910: The Chandley class frigate U.S.S. Monson NCC-2392, operating within the Triangle, encounters four Klingon K-23 class destroyers. Combat ensues, and one destroyer is severely damaged. The other Klingon vessels depart, leaving behind the crippled ship, which self-destructs.[2]
December
- RSD 2/1912: While escorting a convoy of neutronic fuel carriers, the Genser class escort U.S.S. Genser makes sensor contact with a small object of unknown origin. When the Genser breaks off to investigate, the entire starship disappears. Minutes later, the vessel reappears, minus its entire crew. The unknown object has not been detected since, and the whereabouts of that crew remains unknown. The Genser remains on active duty.[2]
