Myriad Universes: José Tyler
In 2196, Lieutenant José "Joe" Tyler was the ship's navigator aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. He was wounded during an incident on Rigel VII that required bandages on his hand. Several weeks later, while traveling to the Vega Colony to treat the ship's more severely wounded crew, Tyler took part in a rescue mission on Talos IV. The distress signal turned out to be a fake, however, and the incident was ultimately resolved with no loss of life.[1]
