The Federation Starship Loknar, the prototype vessel of the Loknar class frigates,[1] was commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/9010 (October 2190). The Loknar was the first ship commissioned into the "Blue Fleet," ships whose officer contingent and crew were entirely Andorian, and served as its flagship for many years. The Loknar was refit to Mark II specifications on RSD1/9807 (July 2198), then again on RSD2/1406 (June 2214) to Mark IV specifications.[2]
