The Federation Starship Tiberius was a Larson class destroyer commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/9506 (June 2252). The Tiberius was refit to the Larson class Mark II specifications on Reference Stardate 2/0012 (December 2258), giving it more powerful phasers and an additional torpedo launcher. On Reference Stardate 2/1201 (January 2270), the ship was refit again to the Mark VI configuration, giving it a more powerful impulse drive system, improved phasers, and more efficient shield generators. Reference Stardate 2/1603 (March 2272) saw another refit, this time to the Mark VII specifications, which featured the new FWC-2 warp engines and a more powerful impulse drive system, which increased the overall power output by 25 percent. As of Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2286), the Tiberius was still on active service.[1]
