This unnamed crewman in the operations division of Starfleet was assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 in 2266. When the ship made first contact with the First Federation on Stardate 1512.2, he was conducting maintenance in the corridor near sickbay when Captain Kirk left to take the turbolift to the bridge.[2]
Notes and References
- ↑ Although several sources have attributed this character to actor Jonathan Lippe, he has repeatedly denied that he appeared in Star Trek. The confusion seems to stem from an erroneous entry in the Star Trek Concordance — copied in other references, such as The Star Trek Encyclopedia — in which the names from a casting call sheet for the role of David Bailey were listed as unnamed, uncredited crewmen in the episode; Lippe was among those who auditioned, but did not get the part, and two of the others were later cast in different roles.
