Sawyer class scout (SFC)

  • RSD 1/8606: Dilithium crystals are integrated into a new generation of engines capable of greater velocity, range, and thrust. The Sawyer class scouts are among the first ships to incorporate these engines, with wide use in non-combat areas of the Federation. The Sawyer class remains in service until 2203, and a total of 69 constructed.[3][4]

  • RSD 1/8611: The Klingon D-7A "Painbringer" class cruiser enters service. Though the D-7C does not enter production soon enough to see combat during the Four Years War, the D-7 class, with its variants, becomes the mainstay of the Klingon fleet for nearly four decades.[7][4]
