- RSD 2/13: After two long years as a merchant captain, Fayel R'Zaad is becoming wealthy and bored. He has never had the chance to command a ship in combat, and the long merchant runs have done nothing for his craving for adventure. His ship is attacked by an Orion pirate vessel, and, although he fights with skill and daring, the virtually unarmed merchant is no match for the heavily-armed pirate.
