In 2208, Uhura was accidentally transposed with her counterpart from another universe. Finding herself aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, she was placed in the ship's brig until that crew, her counterpart, and her counterpart's companions on the I.S.S. Enterprise, could find a way to reverse the transposition.[1]
