The Federation Starship Krieger was a Bonhomme Richard class cruiser (a variant of the Constitution class). Authorized for production by the Star Fleet Appropriation of Stardate 3220,[1] the Krieger was commissioned c.2195, at the onset of the Four Years War. The Krieger and her Bonhomme Richard-class sister ships saw extensive combat during the war, but all were decommissioned and destroyed in weapons tests after the war ended in 2198 as part of Star Fleet's postwar demilitarization.[2]
