Constitution class refit[2]
The Constitution class Starship Yamato was commissioned in March 2257, and in November 2261 was refit to Mark III specifications. November 2275 saw a major refit, to Mark I of the refit specifications. The Yamato was transferred to Starfleet Training Command for use as a training vessel in June 2277.[3]
