Prime Timeline
(The root of all realities)

These powerful telepaths assisted the Keeper, whom they referred to as "Magistrate," in their plans to use Starfleet Captain Christopher Pike and Vina to repopulate their planet, Talos IV, in 2254. After examining the computer records of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, the First and Second Talosians determined that Humans had a strong hatred of captivity, and their violent tendencies made them unsuitable for the Talosians' plans. The Third Talosian was the first that Pike saw when he awoke in the Talosians' underground cage, and the Fourth Talosian accompanied the Keeper and the First and Second Talosians to observe Pike. The Fifth Talosian worked to maintain the Talosians' underground menagerie.[1]
