Amanda Grayson was the wife of Federation Ambassador Sarek and mother of Spock. After their son's death during the kahs-wan in Vulcan's Forge, Amanda and Sarek's marriage ended. She was killed in a shuttle accident at Lunaport when returning to Earth.[1]
