amusement planet (FASA)
The fourth planet of ten[1] in the Narble Qyx system, located in Quadrant III of Federation space,[2] the amusement planet was created by an advanced humanoid civilization[3] that was believed to have originated in one of the other star systems[1] in the Omicron Delta region. Equipped with a computer system that was capable of reading a person's thoughts and instantly creating artificial constructs, it catered to the people's desires as a form of entertainment. The planet was discovered on Stardate 3025.3 by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. After some initial incidents — including the accidental deaths of two crew members, who were quickly revived by the planet's computer — the crew was contacted by the planet's Caretaker. After realizing how the planet worked, the crew was then able to safely use the planet for shore leave.[3]
