alert status

Alerts were states of watchfulness, warnings of danger, and notices to stand by or to prepare for action.[1]
General Quarters
General quarters ordered all personnel to their duty stations, and was an old Earth military term for alert.[1]
Yellow Alert
Yellow alert status informed the crew of a ship or station to stand by for possible danger.[1]
Red Alert
Red alert status warned the crew of a ship or station of imminent or present danger. Some distress signals were designed to cause interference, such as a red alert, in order to gain attention.[2]

Blue Alert
Blue alert was used aboard the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 during planetary landing operations.[3]
Black Alert
Black alert was used aboard the U.S.S. Discovery NCC-1031 when engaging the spore drive.[4]
