The Durrett class was first brought into service on Reference Stardate 2/1509 (October 2271). Of the 108 vessels constructed by Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2286), 102 remained in active service, one was in use by Starfleet Training Command, two were destroyed, two were listed as missing, and one had been scrapped. The Durrett class was produced at the Venus shipyard at a rate of 14 per year.[1]
