The Federation Starship Blake was a Larson class destroyer commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/9612 (December 2254). On Reference Stardate 1/9910 (October 2257), during the Klingon War, the Blake was refit to the Larson class Mark II specifications, giving it more powerful phasers and an additional torpedo launcher. On Reference Stardate 2/1207 (July 2270), the ship was refit again to the Mark VI configuration, and on Reference Stardate 2/1801 (January 2274) to Mark VII. As of Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2286), the Blake was still on active service.[1]
