The Federation Starship Morgan City, a Loknar class frigate, was commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/9107 (July 2191). The Morgan City was captured by the Klingon Empire on Reference Stardate 1/9409 (September 2194), during the Four Years War. Renamed to I.K.S. Staav'eMara, or "Slave of Justice," the Morgan City was used by Klingon Admiral Kamato during the remainder of the war, and then in Kamato's abortive coup attempt on the Klingon government. When the coup failed, Kamato retreated into the Triangle, taking the frigate with him. From the Triangle, the Klingon rebels began attacking unprotected convoys and merchant ships, using the Staav'eMara to lure them in. The ruse lasted for several years, until a general recall of Loknar class vessels made it difficult for the Klingons to operate. The vessel was then repainted in Klingon colors, and as late as Reference Stardate 2/2301 (January 2223), the Staav'eMara still operated in the renegade Imperial Klingon States's fleet.[1]
