U.S.S. Nimitz NCC-4439 (FASA)
The Federation Starship Nimitz was a Larson class destroyer commissioned to Mark II specifications on Reference Stardate 2/0212 (December 2260). The Nimitz was refit to the Larson class Mark VI specifications on Reference Stardate 2/1109 (September 2269). On Reference Stardate 2/1412 (June 2271), the ship was refit again to the Mark VII specifications. As of Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2286), the Nimitz was still on active service.[1]
