Sarah April (née Poole)[1] was the Chief Medical Officer aboard the Constitution class U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701[2] from 2245 through 2250. While serving aboard the Enterprise, she fell in love with and married her commanding officer, Captain Robert April.[1] When he was offered a promotion to commodore,[2] he accepted, expressing a desire to return to Earth and start a family.[1]
