- RSD 1/8703: Star Fleet's Siva class destroyer enters service, but enormous design flaws result in a sharply-reduced production schedule. Only 10 are constructed.[5]

- RSD 1/8704: Star Fleet's Anton class research cruiser becomes operational, with more than 120 built. As the Great Awakening continues, the vessel serves in the forefront of the Federation's boundary expansion efforts.[6][5]
