Charlie[1] was a young officer for the New York Police Department in 1968. When responding to a call, he and his partner were briefly and accidentally beamed aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, which had traveled back in time from 2268. The pair were quickly beamed back to Earth, leaving them bewildered.[2]
