Mexico was a country that occupied most of the southern third of the North American continent on Earth. On Stardate 1513.1, Captain Kirk of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 had a shipment of "prime Mexican red" chili peppers that he was delivering to Commodore Jose Dominguez of Starbase 4.[1]
