The Daedalus class Starship Lovell was assigned to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers; in 2265, the Lovell was commanded by Captain Daniel Okagawa. The S.C.E. team leader was Lieutenant Commander Mahmud al-Khaled.[1] That year, the ship's engineers helped get Starbase 47 operational.[2]
