The vessel's onboard life support systems were operating, but there were no crewmembers aboard. The bridge showed signs of a struggle, but nearly all computer files had been lost and there was no recorded data to reveal what had happened. The last entry from the captain's log, from about four months earlier, made no mention of any emergency or possible danger.
