U.S.S. Palo Alto NCC-4408 (FASA)
The Federation Starship Palo Alto was a Larson class destroyer commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/9801 (January 2256). Following the outbreak of the Klingon War, the Palo Alto was refit to the Larson class Mark II specifications on Reference Stardate 1/9806 (June 2256), giving it more powerful phasers and an additional torpedo launcher. On Reference Stardate 2/1206 (March 2270), the ship was refit again to the Mark VI configuration, and Reference Stardate 2/1409 (May 2271) saw another refit, this time to the Mark VII specifications. As of Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2286), the Palo Alto was still on active service.[1]
FASA Timeline

During the Four Years War, the Palo Alto was refit to the Larson class Mark II specifications on Reference Stardate 1/9806 (June 2198), giving it more powerful phasers and an additional torpedo launcher. On Reference Stardate 2/1206 (June 2212), the ship was refit again to the Mark VI configuration, and Reference Stardate 2/1409 (September 2214) saw another refit, this time to the Mark VII specifications. As of Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2223), the Palo Alto was still on active service.[1]
