The Excelsior class Starship Potemkin[1] was commissioned on Reference Stardate 2/2612 (December 2226).[2] The Potemkin discovered the Newton III rogue planet, and led the first extensive expedition into interphasic space.[3] On Reference Stardate 3/0001 (January 2300), the Potemkin was placed into mothballs.[2]
