Myriad Universes: amusement planet
Located in the Omicron Delta region, the amusement planet was created by an advanced civilization. Equipped with a computer system that was capable of reading a person's thoughts and instantly creating artificial constructs, it catered to the people's desires as a form of entertainment. The planet was discovered on Stardate 3025.3 by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. After some initial incidents — including the accidental deaths of two crew members, who were quickly revived by the planet's computer — the crew was contacted by the planet's Caretaker. After realizing how the planet worked, the crew was then able to safely use the planet for shore leave.[1]
