This unnamed Air Police Sergeant was a United States Air Force Staff Sergeant, and was assigned to the 498th Air Base Wing at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska in 1969. When the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 accidentally traveled back in time to July 1969, Starfleet Captain Kirk and Lieutenant Suluinfiltrated the base to eliminate evidence of the ship's existence. The sergeant discovered the pair in the act, and was accidentally beamed up to the Enterprise. When the ship returned to 2267, the sergeant was beamed into his past self's body before he encountered the Starfleet officers,[1] a process later called "reintegration" by the Temporal Integrity Commission.[2]
