Eve (Biblical)

(Redirected from Eve)
A biblical figure, Eve was the first Human womman created by God, who was tasked with her husband, Adam, to populate the Earth with their offspring. When Captain Christopher Pike was captured by the Talosians, fellow captive Vina compared their situation to Adam and Eve.[1] Tempted into tasting the forbidden fruit of knowledge, Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden to survive in a harsh world.[2] Spock kept a painting of the Biblical story, "The Expulsion from Paradise," in his quarters aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A as "a reminder … that all things end."[3]
