Reference Stardate 2/2101 through 2/2112
- RSD 2/21: R'thlana, with a small daughter in tow, establishes Luxury Apparel on Satterfeld, an independent world within the Triangle. The buisiness, financed partly with money provided by Orion families but largely by Romulan Military Division Intelligence, prospers. In less than a year, R'thlana repays the Orion backers with interest. By the end of the year, R'thlana makes her first arms shipment.[1]
- RSD 2/21: Now that immediate survival needs have been fulfilled, many of the colonists on Sherman's World become increasingly idle. The monarchs order the constabulary to seal and guard the food storage warehouses. A "No Work, No Eat" edict denies rations to anyone not contributing to the welfare of the colony. A food riot results, and one colonist is killed. Soon after, the monarchs withdraw the edict, but threaten to reestablish it if necessary.[2]
- RSD 2/21-2/23 (2221 through 2223): R'thlana, through Luxury Apparel, becomes an established, clandestine arms dealer. Becoming known as a ruthless trader, she also is known to give value for credits spent and to keep her mouth shut. She demonstrates that she can obtain almost any type of weapon on short notice, especially those of Romulan construction.[1]
March
- RSD 2/2103: Lancelot Worthington III sets in motion a plan to have his mole made chief of the anti-cloaking device project.[1]
- RSD 2/2103.08 (8 March): THe BioResearch Corporation begins efforts to recover deposits of corboryte, a valuable metal used in starship construction, from the moon of Newlin II, within the Triangle. The first Vulugan reptiles are transported to Newlin II's moon. A labor force is recruited, and the mining operation begins to gather corboryte.[1][3]
April
- RSD 2/2104: Using Star Fleet Intelligence reports as proof, Admiral Josef Cookston, Chief of Star Fleet Military Operations Command, warns the Federation Military Appropriations Committee that the Klingon Empire may have plans to begin a war with the Federation in the next five to ten years.[3]
- RSD 2/2104: The Organians permit mission teams from the Federation and Klingon Empire to visit Sheridan's World. One week later, the colonists will vote on whether to join the Federation, join the Klingon Empire, or become a fully-independent world.[2][3]
June
- RSD 2/2106: Although the Federation is still expanding into former Orion worlds, reestablished Orion Colonies and increased Federation trade have increased the profits of Orion industries without heightening Federation tensions. The Klingons have proven tolerant of trade so long as their governors and staff are not corrupted by easy living, and the direct trade to Klinzhai has proven an unexpected boon. In spite of unfortunate confrontations between pirates and border fleet, the Romulans have become more approachable, and the trade curve is slowly inching upwards. In a speech celebrating his fifth year in power, Botchok Planetary Congress president Refner declares that the policy of aggressive neutrality has proven itself and will continue.[4]
- RSD 2/2106.01 (1 June): Doctor Carol Marcus receives appropriations from Star Fleet Command to begin the second stage of Project Genesis.[5][3]
- RSD 2/2106.06 (6 June): The Baker class U.S.S. Cooper NCC-4791, commanded by Commodore William P. Masefield, receives a call for assistance from Rho Markessis VI. Several crewmembers land on the planet, only to become involved in a civil war. The crew suffers casualties as they attempt to escape while preserving General Order Number One[3]
- RSD 2/2106.18 (18 June): The Dixie Princess is destroyed by Klingon patrols. Project Minuteman is launched on Marram IX.[6]
- RSD 2/2106.30 (30 June): The U.S.S. Cooper NCC-4791 is ordered to respond to Archanis IV, a research station near the Klingon Neutral Zone.[3]
July
- RSD 2/2107: Mining operations on the moon of Newlin II make the first shipment of corboryte.[1]
- RSD 2/2107: The Star Fleet Corps of Engineers (a department within the Star Fleet Engineering Command) begins constructing a complex subsurface facility on Regula for Stage Two of the Genesis Project[3]
- RSD 2/2107: A new Orion company called Crescent and Trefoil Developments is rumored to be manufacturing non-Federation designed electronic components.[3]
- RSD 2/2107: Star Fleet Intelligence later calculates that Klingon Captain Kruge takes his K-22B Bird of Prey class scout into Federation space at this time. Presumably, Kruge learned about Project Genesis before entering Federation space. It is believed that there may be a connections between Kruge's mission and the disappearance of a deep-space freighter.[5][3]
- RSD 2/2107.08 (8 July): Operation Tactical Encounters XXVI, a major Star Fleet War College fleet wargame, begins under the overall command of Fleet Captain Sufik aboard the Enterprise class cruiser U.S.S. Republic NCC-1753. Its objective is to field-test new tactical combat formations.[3]
- RSD 2/2107.13 (13 July): The Karekh class explorer U.S.S. Sparon NCC-17121, commanded by Commander Lincoln U. Galle, receives a subspace transmission from Commander Mira Romaine on Memory Alpha requesting Star Fleet assistance with a burglary attempt at the Star Fleet Museum.[7][3]
- RSD 2/2107.15 (15 July): The Sparon receives a transmission from the Tantrak Nightwalker reporting the presence of Klingon warships within Federation space.[7]
- RSD 2/2107.16 (16 July): The Sparon receives a transmission from Star Fleet Admiral Randolph Morrow concerning the Organian Peace Treaty and possible war with the Klingon Empire: "According to information obtained by the highest levels of Star Fleet Command, the race of energy beings referred to as the Organians have ceased their enforcement of the Organian Peace Treaty." Apparently, the Organians will no longer intervene in any actions between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. This means that war is once again possible.[7][8][3]
- RSD 2/2107.17 (17 July): The Sparon arrives at Memory Alpha and its crew meets with Commander Romaine to begin their investigation.[7]
- RSD 2/2107.21 (21 July): Upon completing their investigation at Memory Alpha, the crew of the Sparon begins their five-month voyage to Daran V. Derkon Willz is aboard the ship.[7]

December
- RSD 2/2112: Pieter Petrovich Relesky, chairman of the War Council of Paxton IV, fearing the possible expansionist plans of Paxton III, approaches Luxury Apparel, hoping to purchase phasers, a photon torpedo, or a plasma weapon. Though this deal is carried out in secret, R'thlana insures that the information falls into the hands of Trellg, encouraging the fear that these two ambitious governors have for each other.
