The Ranger program was a series of unmanned space probes launched by the United States of America's National Aeronautics and Space Administration in the 1960s as a precursor to the Apollo program's manned missions to Earth's moon. The Talosians viewed information on the Ranger program when they accessed the computer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 in 2254.[1]
