The Star Trek Online Timeline is very similar, though not quite identical, to that of the Prime Timeline. After the apparent death of Spock while stopping the Hobus supernova from continuing to expand, relations between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire began to decline, resulting in a war in the early 25th century.[1]
