The Federation Starship Valiant, a Ranger class starship,[1] was declared a "casualty" of the "war" between Eminiar VII and Vendikar, and was destroyed[2] by the inhabitants of Eminiar VII[3] in 2217.[1] The fate of the Valiant remained a mystery until the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 visited Eminiar VII on Stardate 3192.1.[2]
