(The root of all realities)

The Federation Starship Victory, a Constellation class cruiser, was commanded in the 2360s by Captain Zimbata, and Geordi La Forge served aboard the Victory as an ensign prior to his posting aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D in 2363.[1] In 2362, an away team, including Ensign La Forge, was sent to the surface of Tarchannen III to investigate the disappearance of 49 Federation personnel, a mystery that would not be solved for five years, when La Forge and the other members of the Victory away team were compelled by DNA native to Tarchannen III that had infected them and compelled them to return and mutate into a native species.[2]
