Stardate 4496.1: The Enterprise makes a shocking discovery aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft
The Enterprise comes across a huge, antiquated and apparently abandoned vessel floating in space, only to discover a colony group of primitive Humans aboard, who have been lost in space after leaving Earth centuries earlier. While the colonists are in perfect health, they must deal with the culture shock of learning that a world exists outside of their spaceship. Their initial reaction is fear, as they believe the crew of the Enterprise to be "demons." While the crew negotiates for peace, Chekov discovers the large vessel must be steered away from its present course; otherwise, it will plummet into an immense black hole.
